Today I will give you a fish recipe: Monkfish casserole with prawns.
My daugther Mireia makes it mouthwatering...
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 8 pieces of monkfish
- 8 prawns
- 1 slice of fried bread
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 100 grams. toasted almonds
- grated onion and tomato
- garlic and parsley
- 1 small glass of brandy
- Cut sliced potatoes (5) -optional-
First wash well monkfish and prawns and put it to drain.
In a saucepan, heat olive oil and fry a slice of bread on it. Once it was roasted, you keep it.
Then you add the grated onion and tomato and you leave it to cook. Then you add the garlic and chopped parsley.
Besides you do a dive with fried bread and toasted almonds adding a little hot water.
Then you put salt and pepper in monkfish and prawns and cast them into the pan, leaving it cook about 15' on both sides.
Then you will mix all, add the chopped and the glass of brandy, by baking about 15' more.
It serves piping hot.
If you want, you can also add sliced potatoes. Potatoes join them after the onion and tomato -calculad they have to cook at least 20'-
If you put potatoes, you can consider it as a single dish.
