Today a dessert ... it's a classic ... and who does not like rice pudding ... !!! I give the recipe from my grandmother.
Quantities for 4 people:
Cooking time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
- 2 liters of milk
- 200 grams. of rice
- Vanilla powder (low)
- 1 lemon (4 finely chopped lemon peel)
- salt
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 100 grams. of sugar
- cinnamon powder
First you wash the rice well in cold water and cast him in a pot with milk. Will you add the vanilla (a little), cinnamon stick, lemon peel four and a pinch of salt.
You will put on the fire, stirring with a wooden spoon until it begins to boil, so it does not stick. You cover and let it cook slowly. When the rice is well cooked swollen, it departs from heat and add the sugar. Mix well everything and let cool in a fresh place, throwing it on a tray or in individual small clay pots.
After that you cover with film and you put it in the fridge.
At serving time you can put over cinnamon powder.
