LENTILS OF MY GRANDMOTHER

As chilly continues, I think that comes in handy a pottage as first.

 
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 400 grams. lentils
- 4 cloves garlic, unpeeled
- 1 small tomato
- 1 small onion
- 1 small sausage pork cut into pieces (chorizo)
- olive oil
- water
- potatoes cut into small pieces
(you can also put carrots -optional-)
- salt



Put the lentils in a saucepan with water the day before, after cleaning.The next day, in a pot, you will put a splash of olive oil, making a sauce with tomato cut into pieces, onion and garlics. Afterwards cover them with water, leaving for 1 hour and a half to a simmer.

Then put the sausage, cut into pieces, potatoes and carrots -optional- and a pinch of salt during a half an hour more.

They can be made in a pressure cooker too.
