Today we will delight with artichoke cream ... easy to do, fast and very economical.
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 2 hearts of artichokes per person: total 8
- 4 large leeks
- boiling water artichokes
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
- Iberian ham shavings
- Cream (optional)
First we will pluck artichokes and boil them in water.
The leeks we will cut into small pieces and will cook in a pan with olive oil. Once cooked we reserve them.
In a blender will put the boiled artichokes, leeks and some water to boil the artichokes and will beat all well.
We will put everything in a saucepan, add salt and pepper and if you want a little cream. We will remove it with a wooden spoon and take you to a boil.
Apart we cut Iberian ham to very small pieces, in the form of shavings and will put it on a plate.
Each guest will ham over the cream of artichoke, according to taste ...
